Have you done exhibitions? Which ones? Where? And which experience has it been for you?
Yes, I have; they took place in Uruguay, USA, and Mexico.
It has been stimulating, exiting, it was very important for me the first time I dared to show my work, in fact. I didn’t feel very confident, it was the opposite, it seemed to me that I wasn’t ready, but I got convinced by someone’s words who I don’t recall now, and this person told me, in order to go on it would be necessary to show [what I do].

What did lead you to choose the way of art?
In the first place I was an actress, once I came back to my country after the exile, I just whished to do theater but I didn’t find the right stuff for me; it happened because of my curiosity when I was on the way to my job, I used to see a workshop of art and I finally ended studying there.
.
.
What was your first encounter with art?
In fact was that art group I mentioned before, I mean my first encounter with visual arts, but as a matter of fact, now I can recall that as a child I went to visit once a painter who lived in front of my house .

How was for you to study arts while you were raising your children?
For me it was like a relief, there were other people; it was like changing the routine, because there was where I belonged; what I really liked to do.

How was your way to get where you are now? What kind of circumstances you had to go through to reach there?
Many things, in fact I wrote a book about my memories.

Did your art get influenced by the circumstances you lived since you were a little child?
Even I am not very aware about it, I think every experience leaves a trail in our lives…. In my case…. the absence of art…… “salvo las palabras” (save my words). But art means sensibility, means to know how to see, I have al this thanks to my mother.

What has been the most difficult situation you’ve been through regarding to art? (i.e. personal) and also what is the most rewarding experience you have lived?
The most difficult one is to be able to do something marvelous, to avoid this you can do either nothing or have great ideas and let the others do the work.

I don’t know which one is the most amazing experience I’ve had, but the first time a person bought a painting of mine, I remember I got really exited, I thought that if someone was willing to buy and hang a painting that I made in his house it must be a good one!
And also another good experience was when I got accepted to make an individual exhibition in Minnesota, USA.
.
.
How was for you working for the Publishers from Costa Rica and Uruguay?
Really exiting, I had to work hard, it was a constantly imposition of topics, such a challenge for me.

Do you think an artwork must be planed before, or can this one take shape during the process?
Both things, it depends on how it develops. Depends on if it is an idea which one was thought through plenty of times, or an impulse motivated by a fact or a strong vivid experience. Also by sketching and drawing you can find many interesting things out.

Who has supported your artistic career significantly?
Danili Antón, Teressa B Ridal, my first teacher Jose Arditti (he passed away), my mother and my son Feranando.

Is art what made you feel most satisfied from all the things you have done in your life?
No, art not, but the creation itself yes, my two sons are definitely the most wonderful creation. But yes it is very strong the filling of plenitude the matter I’ve done something beyond my expectations, even though for that I have to make exhausting jobs.

How World you describe yourself as an artist?
Sensitive, creative, a person who has interesting ideas and in constantly training.

How would you define your art?
Is magic realism where the color plays an important roll and the topics of nature and human been are there.
